Mie Kim is a ceramic artist from Seoul. In her Montreal studio, she creates works that invite rest and stillness, in addition to offering courses and workshops for small groups. Her unique works, always modern and minimalist, combine soft lines, subtle curves, raw finishes and sober colors. A deep love of nature and the environment that surrounds us is reflected in each of Mie Kim's works, where wood ash, earth and stone chips often melt into clay and glazes.
